Rock'n'Roll Leaves CardAdded by My Project Ideas Category : Papercrafting&gifts Difficulty : In a Snap (Easy)
Both cards are made using the same technique called Rock'n'Roll. You first ink up your stamp in a lighter colour ink, in this case crushed curry, and then you take the inked stamp and rock and roll it across a darker ink, in this case rich razzleberry or dusty durango, and your image will have a light centre and darker edges. I then modified the technique and inked up the stamp with crushed curry and then used the broad tip of a marker to go along the edges. This is a more refined look. I sponged the edges of the cardstock and then used the color spritzer tool to "spatter" some ink all over for a vintage look. You can find that amazing tool on page 192 of the big catalog and it is $18.95. The stamp set I used is Autumn Splendor and on the left I used the coordinating rub-ons- Autumn Harvest and on the right I used a hostess level one set called Holiday Best.
