I bought the Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit, after a party, simply to save a couple hundred dollars and to receive a discount on my future purchases--I was going to be a Hobby Demonstrator--no classes and no selling. I had no intention of operating a profitable home-based business. Fourteen years later, I am thrilled to share that I am an active Demo and I love having the flexibility to design my own schedule. My husband, Jason, and I have enjoyed 13 all-expense paid tropical vacations compliments of Stampin’ Up!
The picture with Jason was taken in Salt Lake City at one the annual Achievement Awards--I am thrilled to place as a top Demonstrator and Jason surprised me and my team by showing up to celebrate with us. Being a Top Demo awarded another annual trip called Founder's Circle when I got to hang with the top 100 Demos from Canada and the USA to enjoy 5-days of pampering and rejuvinating away from our families .
Our 14-year old daughter, McRae, has become a travel junkie and has joined us on 12 of the trips--what a blast! We were in Thailand this summer (and extended our trip to include a week in Beijing) and "we" have "stamped our way" to Alaska next summer. We just found out that the next incentive trip is a Royal Carribean Greek Isles Cruise leaving from Italy--I'm sure we will tag on some more time to that trip as well!! Why "WE"? It's not all me--these two stamp warriors have supported and helped me throughout the years:
I was also honoured to be choosen to be the FIRST Canadian Demonstrator to serve on the Advisory Board--a team of 8 Demos (out of 45 000, at the time) to meet and work with Corporate Stampin' Up!
I've had 1000s of Demos (mostly Hobby Demos for the discount--like me) join my SUDS Stampin' Up! Team of Demos! I have personally welcomed 380 Stampers. Why so many?? Well, why pay full price??
