Ever since high school I’ve loved making things with my hands. I’m one of those women who has tried just about every craft on the market. But I’ve settled on two.... stamping and quilting. I’m passionate about stamping because it’s so affordable and provides instant gratification. Quilting... not so much!
I can justify my "stamp- addiction" because it satisfies my creative side and in turn becomes a blessing for someone I care about. When I create handmade cards and gifts, I’m taking the time to show someone I care. And the recipients of these heartfelt expressions are touched; their lives are brightened, and our relationships are strengthened. Who knew stamping could be so rewarding?
I started stamping in the early 90’s and became frustrated when trying to purchase supplies at the local craft and stamp shops. Either I couldn’t find the paper that I wanted or I wasn’t able to match the color of the ink with the paper I already had. If I was able to get both the paper and the ink, I couldn’t find a greeting that went with the image I wanted to use. Once I discovered Stampin Up products, I was hooked. It’s so easy to co-ordiante every element of the project. And if I run out of ink or paper, I can order more knowing that the colors will still match.
I became a demonstrator 2004. Since then,I have taught workshops in the northeast as well as the southeast. And I have been blessed with the opportunity to create cottage industries for disenfranchised women in the US and in India using stamps, card stock, and ink. Life is good! I love what I do and want to share it with you so feel free to email me.
