I went to my first Stampin' Up party in March 2006.  I had never stamped before but I was interested in starting to scrapbook some of the 100's of photo's that I have of my 3 kids.  I thought it would be a fun afternoon out, where I could relax and enjoy some time with freinds.  I was right!  I had such a good time.  We sat and made a card and I couldn't believe how easy it was.  I actually made something beautiful, that I was proud to give out.  That was it, I was hooked on stamping.  I ended up buying some stamp sets that day with scrapbooking in mind.  A few weeks later I was invited to another Stampin' Up party and jumped at the chance to go.  Once again I had a great time.  Again, I made a beautiful card and I sat and had a glass of wine and some great snacks and just enjoyed the time with my friends.  It was after that party that I decided to become a demonstrator.  I don't do it to make money but rather to share stamping with my friends.  I love to design cards and scrapbook pages knowing that I will get to show others how to make it too.  I now hold evenings once a month called "Wine and Why Not..." evenings.  We get together and create.  So far we have had " Wine and Why Not...Make a few cards" "Wine and Why Not...make a necklace" (yes I make jewellry too) and "Wine and Why Not... Make a bunch of Gift Tags".  As you may guess the evening includes a glass of wine!  Every one that has come out so far has had a great time and they all come back each month.  Check my calendar to see when the next evening is.  We would love to see you there.

For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.

Welcome to my web page!  This is my first day and I am so excited!  Check back weekly for updates and new projects.  Hopefully you will find something that you have not seen before and that will help you design something new of your own.

Well, last night was another success!  I held a fundraiser at my son’s school where we made some valentines cards. This time kids were included in the fun and they made their own cards in the school library.  In the gym, the mothers and I listened to some music, did some socializing and made some beautiful cards.  Congratulations to our door prize winners - Sandra and Elaine!  Just like the last fundraiser, everyone had a great time and we raised some much needed money for the literacy program!  Thanks to everyone who came out.  I hope to see even more of you at the next one.

Happy Valentines Day!  Well, I finally found some time to start crafting again!  I spent all day yesterday making valentines for my kids classes.  It was a lot of work but so rewarding and fun.  Today, I made a card that I just love called "Happy Day Card".  Check it out on my projects page.  If you would like to make it, email me and I will send you the shoe template.
Also, check my projects page to see the photo of our friends Liora and Aaron that was in the Ancaster News this week.
