How does a "Computer Geek" end up becoming a"Stamp-A-Holic?"

Good question!

Greetings from Warwick, Rhode Island!

I’m obsessed with being creative, and I always have been! I remember getting a box every Christmas from Santa filled with paper, scissors, glue, markers, stickers, and everything else I needed for all my creations. Now, MANY years later, owning my own Rubber Stamping and Scrapbooking business with gives me the PERFECT opportunity to explore my creativity and do something I really enjoy!

Of course, I didn’t intend to have my own business, I had planned to work in a "cube-farm" using my computer science background to design software for a large company. But one night, I went to a workshop, and while the demonstrator was showing us how to make the projects, the only thing I kept thinking was, "I would have done that differently," or "What if I did it this way?," or "I wonder how I can get into this."

Much to my surprise, I found out that I could really make some good money as a demonstrator, which was really appealing since I always knew that I wanted to stay home when I started to raise a family. Even my computer career would have taken a back seat to a family. BUT, owning my own Rubber Stamping business would be something I could do from home at the same time AND I’d be my own boss! From that point on, with my husband Ric’s support, I couldn’t get enough! (Of course, there are times he thinks I’m a little TOO obsessed!)

So here I am, still using my "computer-geekness" to promote my business through the Internet, still exploring ways to do other things with paper, scissors, glue, ink, and rubber along with other crafty pursuits. Not only do I meet incredible people, use and share incredible products, but I have the opportunity to travel to conventions and seminars as well as take the annual company cruise at no expense to me! What’s better than that? I LOVE IT!
