Baby Blanket Welcome Tags
A lady at church is knitting baby blankets for new arrivals in our church. She asked me if I could come up with something to attach to each blanket as a welcome to both the baby and new mother. Here are some I have been working on. She will attach each "tag" with coordinating ribbon or yarn to each blanket.
The Scripture verses I used are:
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:13-14
Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. Psalm 127:3-5a
