I was raised in a family that didn’t shy away from creativity. My mom sewed, needlepointed, and eventually did paper crafting. So it was no suprise I was drawn to scrapbooking and card making. Over many years, I went to parties and workshops and loved every minute of it. It took me a while to make the plunge into joining the Stampin’ Up! family but I’m so glad I did. Nothing sparks the creative juices more than being surrounded by extremely talented and creative folks and then getting to share that excitement and enthusiasim with others.
At multiple workshops, I’ve heard folks show up saying "I’m not very good at this" or "I don’t think I can do stamping" but by the end of the afternoon they are excited to show off the cool things they have made and asking to be notified of the next workshop! I believe everyone is creative and everyone can make cards, scrapbooks, and other projects they can be proud of.
I recently moved to Portland, OR with my husband and three kitties. I’d love to talk to you more about scheduling a workshop or just to discuss products and techniques over email or the phone.
