Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I first met Stampin’ Up in Papua New Guinea where my husband Jim & I served as missionaries with New Tribes Mission for 13 years. I loved the SU "sets of co-ordinating stamps" and all the wonderful colour families that made stamping projects so easy.
We have 6 children, (3 boys and 3 girls) now all grown into wonderful young adults. We also have 2 daughters-in-law, 1 son-in-law, and 5 darling grandchildren. Olivia and Josiah are both 3, Ruth is 19 months, Madison is 9 mos. and Zoe is 7mos. Our youngest son Sam just got engaged so Julia & I have had fun designing their wedding invitations.
My family all encourage me in my creativity and Jim generously shares family room space so I have a workshop. He teases me that I am gradually taking over!
Stamping cards and scrapbooking take up much of my spare time. I enjoy teaching classes and sharing with stamping and scrapbooking friends the things I have learned and enjoy.
Feel free to call or e-mail me to register for some of my upcoming classes, or to book a special workshop designed for you & your friends. I will travel to you or you may host your workshop in my stamping place.
