Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and tools to other craft lovers. Here is my story.
I have always loved paper crafting. I was the "cool kid" who made scrapbooks as a child and teenager.
One winter, some generous friends invited me over for some crafty fun in preparation for Christmas. That's when I first fell in love with Stampin' Up! I was excited to be able to step up my crafting with professional-looking die cuts, perfectly coordinating colors, and high-quality stamped images and sentiments.
The following year I noticed one of my friends posting on Facebook about her Stampin' Up business. When I asked her about it, she offered to give me a private class. I had so much fun and earned so many free products that I decided to join the fun and buy my own Starter Kit!
For me, it was all about the quality of the products and how much easier they made my crafting. I loved having the ability to make my own personalized gifts and cards, not to mention having fresh new supplies to incorporate into my scrapbooks and home decor. The excellent product coordination made my projects turn out great with a lot less time and effort than I was used to spending. I'll tell you, crafting is even more fun when everything matches and coordinates!
I was thrilled that my demonstrator discount saved me money over store prices, and I never guessed my hobby would actually grow to be a source of income. I didn't intend for it to become a business. But after my first year as a demonstrator, as family and friends recieved my handmade creations and wanted to know my secret, I got to experience the joy of sharing this art with others.
There's something a little magical about people slowing down, relaxing, and letting the creative energy flow. I found that helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is one of the best feelings. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps, ink, and paper—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I hope you will enjoy crafting with Stampin Up and joining in on my classes! Don't hesitate to send me a text if you have questions or want to give it a try.
