Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I attended my first stamp worskhop in 1989 and had never stamped anything. I quickly discovered that stamping is one of the greatest creative outlets! Personally, I’ve never gotten past drawing stick people and rely on the fabulous artwork designed by the Stampin’ Up! artists. I copy ideas out of the Catalog and Idea Book, the monthly magazine, the website, and also enjoy a little designing of my own. A lot of my friends are good teachers and great copiers. Some also enjoy a little designing. Because we provide so much support, you are never on your own for ideas. It’s easy and fun. You do not have to be a talented artist in order to stamp and make great cards, gifts, and scrapbook pages!
Since 1989, I’ve gone from paying a small monthly bill, to making first the car payment, and then the house payment. Since 2000, I have been the sole support for our family. My friends and I enjoy the optional conventions and conferences that provide training and are so much fun! I’ve earned all 17 cruises that the company has offered and enjoy the friends we have made from all around the country!
