Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I became a Stampin' Up demonstrator in February of 2008. My mother invited me to a stamping event in the Summer of 2007. I enjoyed all the projects and cards that we created. It was my escape from the ordinary. I soon signed up to host parties through a wonderful, creative and cheerful demonstrator. Her name is Donna Diaz. She always had new and exciting projects and cards to make, and was so happy. She mentioned to me a few times about demonstrating, something I thought I could do but not have the time for. I was also afraid that I would not meet quotas set by the company to continue my business. After a couple more conversations with Donna about becoming a demonstrator and learning what I would have to meet. I could do this. Now, I enjoy my once a month workshops with my friends and their friends. I meet my sales without problem. As far as time, I can always find time to stamp. It is with great guidance and support from my demonstrator (now upline) and our group that I seem to be starting my business out in the right direction. I want to thank, my mother for getting me involved, Donna Diaz my direct upline, Judy for our monthly meetings and all the girls in our group of demonstrators.
