I have enjoyed papercrafting for many years! I started in 1997, when my young daughter convinced me to let her go the "sticker store." This "sticker store" turned out to be a scrapbook store that had recently opened in Pleasant Hill, CA. I was instantly hooked and began scrapbooking that day. I was a patron of that little store (Remember When...) for years until they closed (in 2009 I think). Also, during this time my daughter left home for college and soon it seeemed that most of my scrapbook pages were about the dog. LOL. Time to expand my creative juices! My sister enjoyed cardmaking and so I started in that direction and discovered a whole new world of creativity. With few scrapbooking/stamping stores around anymore, I went online and there I discovered Stampin' Up! I was a customer for years before I finally realized that if I became a Demonstrator I could get a discount on all my purchases. Umm, hello!
In 2016, I joined Stampin' Up! and became a demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and I love sharing what I do. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
