Sunday Stampers Six Pack 2 MAR 1  1:30 PM - 5:00 PM (Central)

This group of six meets every other month and makes 2 cards for two different techniques shown. This month we will be making a card using the faux metal techniqe and a card showcasing Stampin' Up!s paper piercer and one of the Saleabration sets.

Scrappy Scrapbook Club MAR 21  10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Central)

This group of five meets once a quarter and makes 2 different 12X12 page spreads. Pages may be more challenging since there are such a small number of members. Each member receives a free catalog and other freebies for being a member of the club. The months that we meet are March, June, September, December, and March (2010). The hostess provides the lunch and drinks and has the option of hosting the club at her house or my house.

Lillypad Stampers 1st Shoebox Swap! MAR 28  10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Central)

Lillypad Stampers 1st Shoebox Swap! Come and expect to have fun! REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Saturday, February 28 TOTAL # OF PARTICIPANTS: 10 Participants should start designing a card with only Stampin' Up! supplies and current stamp sets as soon as they sign up for this swap. Once we have the final number of participants (no more than 10 this time), each person will place their order (if needed) with me by Saturday, February 28 for any supplies they do not currently have enough of to make the desired number of cards. Keep in mind that each card should be able to be made in 15-20 minutes. It is called a shoebox swap because all supplies necessary to make each card should fit in a shoebox size box. Inside your box, you will need to have one sample card already made for everyone to look at. Also include the stamps, ink and any other embellishments that you have used for your project. Individually prepackage the precut cardstock and precut ribbon for all the participants (like I do for a class). We will then get together on Saturday, March 28 and make the cards. Each participant brings their own adhesive unless glue dots, dimensionals, or sticky strip is used and then that is considered part of the supplies found in the shoebox. Everyone brings their own sharp detailed scissors too. Each participant will vote on their favorite card and the winner will receive $25 from me in free product from the 2009 Spring/Summer catalog. In addition the winner's card will be posted on my blog as a guest designer! What a great way to stretch your creative imagination and receive 10 neat card ideas at the same time! Since we will be ordering in February, every $50 order qualifies for Sale-a-bration rewards as already mentioned in this newsletter. Each participant will also bring a light snack to share with the group. I will provide the drinks, plates, and utensils. Let me know if you wish to come, and if you want to bring a friend. If you ever want me to help you get your shoebox swap ready, just let me know. Call or email me today to reserve your spot! I would love to make this an once a quarter event!
