My Story

I've always loved crafty things and have over the years participated in such hobbies as embroidery, quilting, sewing, water color painting and jewelry making. However, once I went to a Stampin' Up! party, rubber stamping flew to the top of my list of favorite hobbies! I love that I can finish several projects in an evening. I crave that sense of accomplishment!

Since it was clear that I needed everything in the catalog, I signed up as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in 2004. I'm still working on getting everything in the catalog, but I do have to say that my stamping room is pretty full! I've met so many great people through this hobby - it truly is a fun social hobby.

Now, I suppose you're wondering why I call this site Inky Nose Stamper... Well, I am notorious for obliviousness to my own messiness. My fingers are usually covered in ink and there is always glitter in my hair! My daughter has inherited this propensity for untidiness. She's been stamping with me since she could hold the stamps in her chubby little hands. While we were making thank you cards for her second birthday, she picked up one of the kid's pads and was examining it closely. In my own euphoria of stamping, I didn't think anything of this until she pressed the pad to her nose!

For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
