Alcohol and Reinker Technique for Background
Wet a cotton ball with Rubbing Alcohol. Slightly pull cotton ball so bigger (think of it as rolling out pie dough). Using re-inkers drop several drops of various colors over cotton ball in any configuration you desire, dab onto glossy cardstock until covered to your liking. (The more you dab the murkier it could get.) Practice makes perfect as they say. I used multiple blues from light to dark, and possibly wisteria and eggplant or navy. I usually do multiples of this technique in various colors in one sitting, so I have extra on hand. TIP: Use vinyl gloves so fingers don't get stained by ink.
Tips on this card - I stamped an extra bear so I could fussy cut another head and paw to hold umbrella. I pulled backing off glimmer paper so cuts easier with Framelits or Thinlets (especially for raindrops.) For raindrops, I cut small piece of glimmer paper, and adhered a piece of multipurpose adhesive sheet (cut same size) to the back before I ran through Big Shot. Silver umbrella handle was cut under umbrella to shorten. Soft sky layer is popped up on dimensionals. Panda head, umbrella, and clouds are popped up using dimensionals and mini dimensionals. Rain drops were individually put on the layer of Alcohol Re-inker glossy cardstock using the piercing tool to grab and pull them off the adhesive sheet backing.
