Butterfly Scrapbook PageAdded by My Project Ideas Category : Scrapbookpages Difficulty : A Step Up (Medium)
I had so much fun experimenting with this page! I used Daffodil Delight as the base for both pages. Then I used Night of Navy and a bit of Pear Pizzazz (now a retired color). I cut the butterflies using the Beautiful Butterflies die and then I put the butterflies on the Paper Doily sizzlit and cut them out from there. Next I used a temporary adhesive to set them down in a flutter pattern on my page and sponged over them with the Night of Navy ink. When sponged to my liking I removed each and then spritzed the whole thing with Champagne Shimmer Mist. I used the sponged butterflies that were the dies on the second page so that it all tied together. It is such fun to experiment making your own designer paper. I have to admit, I made the page and then thought about what I'd do with it. Was I delighted when I found pictures of my sons from when we went to the Butterfly Pavillion in Myrtle Beach, SC. And his shirt matched the page perfectly!!! Fate!
