My Story

You'veGot2BeInkin' ~

Welcome...I've been a part of the Stampin'UP! family for close to 12 years now; here's some background about my history with Stampin’Up!
I signed up as an Independent Demonstrator in November 2005.  Like most who purchase the Starter Kit (for the incredible value), I thought the discount on product would help fulfill my needs as a hobbyist. However, it didn’t take me long to share my love for all that SU has to offer with others...I quickly began to offer classes. I’ve made scrapbooks for many years...that was my first love. In addition, I’m now busy creating my own greeting cards & unique crafty-gift-giving projects.  I've sold my cards at a local shop in my hometown, held a Trunk Show at the famous GRAND HOTEL on Mackinac Island, MI & have participated in several local craft events/fairs.

I’ve attended various events that the company has to offer their Demonstrators. As of 2014, I've traveled to Salt Lake City, UT (7 times) & once to Denver, CO to participate in a total of eight -AWESOME- annual Conventions! Then, to Houston,TX; Palm Springs, CA; Phoenix, AZ & San Antonio, TX to attend annual Leadership Conferences. I've attended Regional Conferences in Lansing, MI (twice), Phoenix, AZ & San Antonio, TX. A few 'Honors' I've received were in July 2011 (at Convention), I received my gold 5 year pin (& have since earned a 10 year pin). Then in early July 2012, I was notified by Stampin'UP! Headquarters that I had earned an Annual Award in the category of Annual Promotions to Sr. Associate in Level 1 of my downline.  I was pleasantly surprised; while at Convention I received a gold pin and later picked out a free current stamp set as a prize (a BIG! thank you to my Downline).  Once a month I can attend a gathering of many local demonstrators...right here in mid-Michigan, provided by my Up-Line, Ronda Wade. All of these events provide me with up-to-date knowledge of products & creative ways to use the wide variety offered by Stampin’ Up! Many people think we only offer rubber stamps, and while that is a huge part of what SU is all about (card making), you can find lots of products to use for your scrapbooking needs; original style
& the BRAND NEW...SOON TO BE RELEASED, "Memories & More" product line with the release date of June 1, 2017.  We have a huge product line using a die cut machine, called The Big Shot to help you produce beautiful pieces to incorporate in your paper crafting & quilting/sewing needs.  SU even overs an awesome kit called "Paper Pumpkin" - a surprise each month directly to your mailbox!!

Please take a moment to ‘walk through my website’, and remember to check back often. I’m adding new Events to my monthly calendar on a routine basis; come join the fun by attending classes offered at my home. I look forward to growing my downline-team!  Won't you join us?

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 39 years. We have 4 wonderful children (3 daughters/1 son), as well as two great son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law & one adorable grandson.  We've lived in Michigan for nearly 28 years; having moved here from New York & previously living in California, Illinois, Iowa & Ohio.

If you happen to be long-distance, no problem…I can help you place orders & have them shipped directly to your home. My site will hopefully inspire all of you…again check back often. I look forward to helping you with your stamping & crafting needs. Thank you for spending time with me - 12 years & still loving being a Demonstrator,
Gayle

Monday, June 1, 2009 ~ It's an exciting day for Stampin' UP! Demonstrators ~ we get to see a Sneak Peek at the BRAND NEW 2009-2010 IDEA BOOK & CATALOG!  With the release of this new catalog, we are returning back to having it around for a full year, which really make me happy!  ALSO on this date, will be the release of the newly named "LAST CHANCE LIST" (formerly known as the Retirement List) for stamp sets.  So, grab that current SPRING~SUMMER 2009 IDEA BOOK and get your stamps ordered during June so that you don't miss out.  At some point in June, there will also be a release of the Retirement Accessories Listing...it will be sad to see the current IN-COLORS leave...but then, a whole new selection will be relased in July!  I hope to see and/or hear from you sOOn!

Friday, December 19, 2008 ~ a good portion of my morning was spent shoveling from a BIG snowstorm that hit mid-Michigan.  Luckily it was that very fine powder, but amazing how quickly it accumulated...we have about 5+ inches & more to come.  I was just thankful that our son came home from U of M for his winter break yesterday...otherwise I’d have been out there for many, many more hours! Our drive is 120’ long & slightly wider then single width the first 90’ and then triples!! I’ll for sure sleep well tonight, and be crippled come morning! It’s the pitts to get older.  Of course, all this snow is keeping me off the roads & out of the stores ~ which isn’t good ~ I’m in NO WAY finished shopping for our 4 kids & son-in-law. I was thrilled to hear they were more interested in either a ’big ticket item’ or would prefer specific gift cards to their favorite store(s)! YES!!  It’s those 5 stockings that I’m worried about; where is Santa when you need him?  In addition to still needing to shop, I’m still making cards...yes, I do know there are only a few more days! I had such a good start on them a few weeks ago, but I put them away to (1) wait for more ribbon to come in my order (2) because I had stamping Events and needed the table space!  Big mistake putting it away...out of sight...out of mind!  Well, not really out of mind, more like out of motivation.  So, good for the snow...I’ll be assured to have them all at the Post Office Box at some point by Sunday.  Hey, a whole 3 days of mail service to spare!  My wish for you, is that you take time to enjoy this beautiful holiday season.  Stay safe in your travels, and be sure to check back for more messages such as this in my Journal area.  New classes should be listed on my Events Calendar soon. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EACH OF YOU & thanks for stopping by ~

Monday, December 1, 2008 ~ would you believe that I just noticed today that I have this space to enter a personal note?  I certainly appreciate each & every one of you who have taken the time to look at my Web Site?  I only noticed this journaling area by viewing a Web Site of another Demonstrator, located in California!  So...be sure to check back at this location for messages from me.  I hope your Thanksgiving was fabulous and that you’ll have lots of fun with the preparations of the upcoming Holiday Season.  If you are where snow & cold comes with the winter months, be safe traveling around & be sure to enjoy the beauty of the snow too!  We just had our first snowstorm of the season & I’ll be anxious to see just how many more inches will fall between tonight & tomorrow...it is simply gorgeous out there!!

If I can be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Thanks for visiting ~ Gayle
