Watercolour - Flowering FieldsAdded by My Project Ideas Category : HandmadeCards Difficulty : In a Snap (Easy)
Dust the 6.6incx2.2inch watercolour card with the anti-static bag and stamp a selection of flowers across the landscape card in black ink. Once happy, cover in clear embossing powder and heat set.
Colour in the flowers with the selection of ink colours using your aqua-painter. You can dab a little bit of the ink on to your craft mat (or the lid of the ink pad) and then pick the ink up with the aqua-painter for a fainter colour and the ability to water the colour down. Or use the aqua-painter directly on the ink pad for a stronger colour. There is no need to be precise. Use a little of the layering cardstock colour in the flowers as well, we are using Melon Mamba to layer with.
Once the flowers are coloured in, colour the background in a light blue colour by picking up the colour directly with the aqua-painter and scribble on the background. Go over the scribble with the aqua-painter to blend the background in.
Once you are happy, cut the cardstock into three pieces, 2.2inx2.6in in size.
Layer them onto the Melon Mamba cardstock with glue and then on to the Whisper White cardstock using dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment in Melon Mamba. (lay the pieces on first to work out were the sentiment will go but do not glue. Remove before stamping and add them on after the sentiment.
