Christmas Gift BagAdded by My Project Ideas Category : Papercrafting&gifts Difficulty : A Step Up (Medium)
Cut a piece of A4 cardstock (from the Season of Cheers cardstock pack) so it is 6” by its full landscape length (11.6”)
Score along the short edge at 1 ¾”, 5 ½”, 7 ¼”, 11”. Then score the long edge at 1 ¾” and 5 ½”.
Fold all score lines. Fold the horizontal 5 ½” score in the opposite direction. This is the top of the bag.
Snip the bottom corner of the tab section away (11” score line, but only the bottom section). (The bottom is the larger of the horizontal scored sections). Snip up the other score lines until you hit the 1 ¾” score line.
Put glue on the tab and fold the bag together, fold the bottom tags in and glue the final one. When closing pinch/push the sides in so that you get a nice rounded front, and the sides close neatly. To decorate
Using the Season of Cheer washi tape, lay three lengths down one side of the gift box. Line the first strip next to the edge of the gift box.
Glue a piece of the red pomp om trim to the edge of the card.
Cut a piece of whisper white card stock to 2 ¼” by 3 ½”. Stamp “Wishing you the sweetest season” stamp from the ‘Oh what fun“ stamp set repetitively down the card. Stick to one side of the gift box, next to the washi tape.
Piece or punch two holes above the top score line of the bag, at the edges. Make sure the hold go through all four layers of the gift box. If you punch the holes too centrally it won’t catch pinched in sides and the opening will gape.
Push ribbon through the holes (Red/Green 1/4” stripped ribbon).
Cut whisper white card to 2” square, and use the tri-corner punch and decorate the corners of the square. Stamp “do not open until Christmas” stamp from the ‘Oh what fun’ stamp set. Thread on to the ribbon.
Fill with Christmas goodies!
