Method

Cut a piece of cardstock by 18cms x 11cms.  Choose a piece that co-ordinates with the Designer Series Paper (DSP) you will be using for the cover of the matchbox.

Score 1.5cm on all edges.

Cut a wedge out of each corner square (were the scored lines overlap), this will ensure a neat corner for your box.  Make sure you take the wedge out of the same side of each square.  Put glue on the tab you have created and stick the box together.  Take time to get the corners neat and the edge of the tab in line with the edge of the side of the box.  This will ensure the cover slides on and off easily.

Cut a piece of DSP by 7.5cm x 14.5cm.  Glue to the bottom of the box.  Cut three strips from the cardstock 7.5cm x 3cms, score at 1.5cms.  Fold the cards strips along the score line and glue one half to the box.

Cut a piece of DSP 15cms x 20.5cms.  Score at 8.2cms, 9.9cms, 18.1cms, and 19.8.  Fold along score lines and glue the cover together.  Use the opposite side of the DSP that you used to cover the bottom of the box.  Ensure there is room behind the tabs to put a gift card or small present.

Slide the cover onto the box to check the fit.  Adjust if necessary.

Stamp and punch several flowers using the Petit Petals Bundle.  Punch flowers from the DSP without stamping an image.

Stamp a greeting from the Cottage Greetings stamp set onto co-ordinating card stock.  Cut out into the shape of a banner.

Glue the flowers onto the tabs at the bottom of the box, build the layers up so that tab three has the highest level of flowers.  Ensure all parts are contained within the box as the cover will not slide on with flowers hanging over the sides of the box.

Cut small strips of Window sheet, these will be stuck behind the flowers vertically to support the flowers and to give it extra spring to the flowers when the cover is removed.

Cut a piece of DSP 6cm x 20.5cms.  Score on 8.3cms, 10cms, 18.3cms, 20.cms.  Fold on creases, glue and slide over the cover to the matchbox and centralise.

If you use cardstock instead of DSP, use these measurements.  6cmx21cms.  Score on 8.4cm, 10.2cms, 18.8cms, 20.4cms.

Stamp a greeting from Cottage Greeting stamp set in delightful Dijon.  Stick onto to the cover with dimensional pads.

Carefully slide the box into the cover.
