Another Thank You Cased

Added by My Project Ideas Category : HandmadeCards Difficulty : In a Snap (Easy)

If you look on Pg 16 of the 2015-16 Annual Catalogue you will see the origins of this card.  At Stampin' Up, if you copy another card design, it's called casing - and is perfectly acceptable!  To make it more 'me' I swapped the cardstock and stamp sets.

The thing that I also love about Stampin' Up is that they match tings so well.  So I used the English Garden Designer Series paper and there is also English Garden Cardstock, which completments the DSP perfectly.  I used the Hello Honey cardstock in the pack and made an A5 card base.  I cut a strip of the DSP 3" wide and 8.1/4" long to fit the card base at the bottom.  I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock by 7 1/4" by 4 3/4" and second generation stamped the butterfly sytamp from the 'Well Worded' set twice in Tip Top Taupe ink (second generation is when you stamp it once on scrap paper and then stamp straight away on the project to get a lighter image).  I stamped the sentiment from 'another Thank You' in versafine black onxy ink.

I tied some Linen thread around the top, finishing with a bow.  I stamped a heart and a star stamp inTip Top Taupe and Delighful Dijon from the Pictogram Punches bundle for emblishments, and three of the yellow Bright Candy Dots.

I have entered this into the SUO Challenge Blog, 7-18th July -  and Craft Stamper 'Anything Goes' July Challenge
