I thought you might be interested in knowing how I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
My upline's upline, my daughter Sue, introduced my upline, my daughter Linda, to Stampin' Up one weekend while Linda was visiting Sue, by taking her to a stamping event. It may have been a hostess party, or an upline event provided by Sue's upline. In any case, my upline (daughter Linda) said, "I can do this". So she became a Stampin' Up demonstrator. Linda then invited me to some events at her home. She lives about three hours closer to me than my daughter Sue.
I made three greeting cards at each of those events, had a bunch of fun and I decided that if two of my daughters were getting involved in this, I certainly wanted to get involved so we could share yet another thing in common.
It has been, and continues to be, great fun. I can't wait for our next get together. We will stamp, of course, but even better, we will share. In the process of sharing stamping ideas, we share lots about what is going on in our lives. Need I say more?
The Neighborhood Card Club is back. A few changes have been made. We are now meeting at three different times, an afternoon, an evening and a morning session. Each session is the same, so you can come to whichever is convenient for you each month.
I have also started up a monthly special event. The events will most likely take place on the last Saturday of each month and will be announced on my web site.
I look forward to having you join us.
Hope to see you soon!
