Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
My personal journal...
It is a thrill to be involved with Stampin’ Up! I discovered the wonderful world of Stampin’ Up! in the fall of 2005 and never looked back. Like many of you, I attended a couple of Stamp Camps that my Stampin’ Up! mama Kathie Haley had. It was fun, and I decided to host one at my house. So many friends were interested in Stamp Camp, that I had two! Soon after, I decided that I wanted to direct Stamp Camp and here I am!
The fun has never ceased! I still love it, love it, love it! I’ve met many wonderful new friends and re-connected with many wonderful old friends. I love the colors, the creativity, the quality products, and especially the fun people. If you want to join my Stampin’ Up! circle of friends, I’m here for you. Above all else, I want you to enjoy stamping. If you want products or help with projects, I’ll be your coach.
As of June 2008, I ended my long and rewarding career as an educator. My last class at Cal Poly was full of delightful future teachers, and the children under their leadership will be in good hands. With no more lessons to plan, papers to evaluate, or teachers to supervise, I am morphing from Dr. Suzy to Suzy Stamper! Of course, I still plan to play tennis, play with grandbaby Jaeger, read favorite books, and enjoy quality time with my high school sweetie. Life is good and I feel blessed.
I look forward to stamping with you! I hope you’ll join me.
