My Story

Hi, I'm thrilled to be a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and I can't wait to share my passion for creating with you. My web site is underconstruction but soon you'll be able find even more information and ideas on my web site at You can find me on Pinterest under Carole Anne Patterson.
I am originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and moved to California in 1997 and we live close to San Francisco.  I have a great husband and I am a stay-at-home Mom of two very busy teenagers, 13 and 15, my best buddy and crafting companion is my Havanese named Frodo. I do love my family!  I also love all things crafty!  My artistic side feeds my soul, crafting makes me happy and I enjoy sharing my talents with others. I have been able to volunteer at my children's K-8 school for many years--I've worked with kindergarten through 4th grade and taught them to sew and even paint quilt squares, we did weekly art projects in 3rd grade, I created invitations for school events, worked on auction projects with K through 8th students and help to organize school parties. Being a stay-at-home Mom has given me so many opportunities to share my talents and it's rewarding to volunteer for anything and everything pertaining to my children. I've had so much fun and I'm not finished yet!
After years of being a hobby stamper, I decided to take the plunge and become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator! I will get paid to do something I love to do!!! I am blessed to have a supportive husband and a cozy studio in our home where I can create. With the treasury of supplies available from Stampin' Up, it makes it so easy to put pieces together to create a fabulous card or piece of art.  The weight and color of the paper, the embellishments, embossing, stamps, glitter, buttons and ribbons can be placed on a base in so many different configurations -- the sentiment adds the finishing touch...that is until your words complete the card. There are so many reasons to love Stampin' Up! come on in and start creating with me!
