My Story

Living the dream

Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding! I get to be creative every day. I also get to be a creative coach. I get to make new friends and hang out with them. What's not to love?

For me, being creative is about more than stamps and ink and card stock, it’s about sharing a part of myself with the people I love. Hope you'll join me!

Hi! I have been stamping and making cards since 1998. I've been sharing that pleasure through my Stampin' Up! workshops for six years now, and I can honestly tell you that if there's anything more fun than crafting alone, it's crafting with friends. We gather in my dining room each month to make cards, explore new techniques, try out new products, and enhance our skills -- together.

While I have given cards to friends, I've also sold them in East Bay shops and on line at my Etsy shop, quirkynberkeleycards.etsy.com. When I left Berkeley and moved in with my new husband nearly seven years ago, I found that there were no scrapbook shops on this side of the Caldecott Tunnel. I decided to become a Stampin' Up demonstrator so that I would have easy access to beautiful products -- and hopefully join a community of crafters here in Contra Costa County. I am also building community on my Facebook page, where I share what I'm working on and great new ideas.

I've enjoyed my association with Stampin' Up -- it's a professional, ethical, and friendly company whose products are top notch. I'd be happy to share -- in person or online -- with both advanced crafters and folks who are just starting out.
