My Story

I love being a SU demonstrator; I am still so glad that I signed up.  I am doing all the stamping I used to; my kids birthday cards and many Christmas cards.  Now I am creating even more for workshops, parties, camps, and customers.  If you think creating is hard, try doing it everyday. Thank goodness it gets easier and easier the more you do it, just like with anything else.

How did I get started?  I had been to a few parties years ago, bought a alphabet set and a pack of Stampin' Spots.  But my big start came when I went on bed rest, two months before my due date; I needed something to do to keep from going crazy.  My SU demo brought me a catalog, ideas, and had everything shipped right to me.  I made 300 thank you notes and 150 birth announcements (3 years later, I reinked the pad that I used).  I was totally hooked after that.

Before long I had joined a stamp club, you know to keep my stamp buying on a budget - ha!  When I was booking parties for my demonstrator and helping friends with their card ideas, my husband and I finally decided it was time for me to become a demonstrator.  I am so glad.  Now I get to take advantage of all the perks of being a demonstrator.  In addition to the 20% discount that I really take advantage of, SU is very supportive of its demonstartors.  They have so many resources that have helped me with ideas for my own stamping, workshops, or for friends.
