Welcome

Welcome to my Stampin'Up! web site!

Our Occasions catalog is still going strong with many wonderful products available until May 31st. If there is something you don't want to miss, be sure to order because the items may not be available in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog available June 1st. The Retiring List will be out soon so be sure to check back here to see what is going away! Make your list and order directly from my site to have your order mailed to your home! It doesn't get any easier than that!

Are you new to new to creating cards? I would enjoy helping you get started on a wonderful adventure. Please contact me if the answer is 'YES'. My calendar is open for you to host a small gathering of your friends where I can show you that making cards can be easy and fun! A sister demonstrator and I have monthly classes called Stamp Camps at her home where you can attend and learn all about making wonderful cards and papercrafts!  My calendar is listed at the bottom of this page. Sometimes the regular dates have to be changed due to scheduling issues, so check to see if a listed camp is still set for that day and month.

I hope to hear from you soon!

PROJECT: Lovely Flowers

Like so many stampers, I never seem to use the beautiful papers I have acquired throughout the years. I am trying to use the Designer Series Paper more often especially when I know it will be retiring May 31st!  One 12"x12" sheet like this will create 6 easy cards like this with a little left over. This is helpful if you are making multiples of one card for classes, swaps and workshops.

My colors are a Wild Wasabi base cut to 11" by 4 1/4" with the long side scored at 5 1/2. I used the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder on the front making vertical lines. The DSP is from Whole Lot of Lovely cut 4"x 3 3/4" . I then cut a 4" x4" piece of Soft Sky card stock. Lining both pieces up across the bottom, I used scalloped die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits in the Big Shot. Cutting the two layers together makes lining the pieces up much easier. The Soft Sky layer gives a nice dimension to showcase the floral paper. I used 1/4" White Organza ribbon as a trim and gave a little sparkle to the flowers with Jewels Basic Rhinestones. This card design was a CASE from Sue Vine also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

The inside of my card has the Soft Sky card stock stamped with a sentiment from Colorful Seasons stamp set that coordinates with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  I decided to hand cut flowers from the DSP just to give a little interest to the inside of each card. Since the flowers come from left over papers, no two are the same.
