I was lucky enough to be born into an artistic family. My father was always creating, whether the medium was Plaster of Paris or pencils and watercolors. My mother loved to knit. I also grew up in the 60s and 70s, where creativity was everywhere. My parents shared their gifts of art and needlework with my sisters and I, and the three of us picked up other arts and crafts along our individual paths.
I learned about Stampin' Up last year from a friend who was doing an on-line art broadcast. Her medium of choice was Stampin' Up inks. I obtained a catalogue, saw all the exciting possibilities, and I was hooked! I hosted an on-line "event" as soon as possible, and I've been buying and using Stampin' Up products ever since.
