Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
I attended my first Stampin' Up workshop back in August of 2004. I attended this workshop to support the hostess, not because I was especially interested in stamping. We created two "hand's on" projects in the workshop. The first involved a stamped image with coloring - it was really cute, but was pretty much what I expected. Then we made our second project. It was a holiday card that used heat embossing. That was it!!!! I was totally hooked. That project showed me how incredibly versatile the art of stamping can be. Right there in that workshop, I signed up for the stamp camp that the demonstrator was offering, and became a club member.
After several months of being my demonstrators best customer, I decided I would sign on to be a demonstrator myself. The discount alone is wonderful, but the best part is meeting all the amazing folks that I've meet through workshops, classes and stamp-a-stacks. I love having a hobby and a side-business that gives me a chance to meet people and explore my creativity. I haven't looked back since!
