Remarkable Stampers August Blog Tour

If you are just joining this month's Blog Tour welcome!  If you joined the tour earlier I am sure you are finding lots of inspiration for your own projects and I hope my two cards will be no exception.

I have to give credit to my downline and friend, Lisa, for inspiring these two elegant and simple cards this month.  She asked me to help her create wedding cards for a project she is working on and I love a creative challenge!

This first card was created with the Floral Phrases Bundle and Circle Punches.  The second was created with the Flourish Phrases Bundle and Layering Circles Framelits.  Both cards went together SO quick and easy and I think would delight any happy wedding couple!  Both of these bundles have SO many lovely greetings that would help make these cards perfect for almost any occasion.

Well, I am going to keep this short as I am off to the lake to enjoy a day of boating with friends and our visiting Japanese exchange cadets.  If you have any questions or would like to order the supplies for either of these cards please contact me.  I would love to help you!

Deb Lehigh is the next stop on this month's tour and i know you will enjoy what she has created this month! Thanks again for dropping by and I will look forward to sharing something from the new Holiday Catalog with you next month!

Happy Stamping!

Could you give a few details about how to make the Wedding card? It's a technique that I don't recognize from the photo. thanks.

I think you're talking about the top card. I used the Floral Thinlits the cut out the lacey looking piece and then stamped with the Floral Phrases stamp set and use Circle punches to punch out the Wedding Wishes greeting. If you have questions please feel free to contact me at I would love to help you more!

Yes, I was asking about the top card. The lacy looking background looks raised to me not just cut with the Thinlits. So how was this part done? Thanks.

I just cut a 4 x 5 1/4 inch piece of Whisper White that I then ran through the Big Shot with the Floral Thilits. It may look a bit raised as I it is attached to the cardbase mostly with Fast Fuse behind the ribbon. I did add just a little Fine Tip Glue Pen to the edges at the corners. There is no other glue or adhesive attaching the lacy piece. Let me know if this helps or if you have more questions. I would love to see your finished card!
