ICS Blog Hop: Butterfly Beauty Thinlits

Welcome to the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! Our April theme is, It's a Spring Thing! I decided on a wedding card, and used the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies for my card, since I had not even taken them out of the package yet.

I used nontraditional wedding colors for a bright, springy card. I used the Garden Impressions 6x6 Designers Series Paper Stack. I pulled a Calypso Coral and White piece from the stack. I didn't want the white in it, so I went over it with the Sponge Brayer using Mango Melody ink. I did this because, I had originally planned on using the 1/8" Sheer Ribbon in Coral on the card, and wanted to tie the coral color into it. But, the butterflies are so stunning by themselves, I found I didn't really need any embellishments.

I didn't forget the inside of the card. I had to cut one of the butterflies from the grouping to allow them to fit the card front, and make room for my sentiment, which was embossed with white embossing powder. The butterfly worked perfect as an accent inside the card.

Hope you enjoyed my card! And if you did, leave a comment. It's nice to see who has been here and what they thought of the project.

But, don't leave just yet, click on the next button, and hop on over to Cynthia''s blog and see what Springy project she has to share with you! Feel free to leave comments along the hop, when you see something you like. We all can use a little love and kindess in our day!

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!

No Line Watercoloring

Here are the cards from my monthly technique class. We practiced No Line Watercoloring in our March session. Definitely a technique that takes some practice, but well worth it when you master it. The Rooster card has been shown before, but was the reason for this technique class, so showing it again. The Butterfly card design was CASE'd, and I want to say from Janet Wakeland, but I could be wrong. The original card did not have the watercolored butterflies, and a different sentiment.

IDEAS Blog Hop - Geared Up Garage

Welcome to the IDEAS Blog Hop, a group of international demonstrators who create a monthly bundle of tutorials for our customers and team members. This month's theme is Mother's Day, Father's Day or Friendship. I am using Geared Up Garage for a fun Father's Day card and treat holder.

I also used the Faux Metal technique, which is explained in the tutorial. Love the dimension it gives to the car!
I have a craft sale coming up and am hoping these cute little toolboxes, (some won't say Dad) will be a hot seller for those special men and car enthusiasts in our lives!

Want to know how to make these?  Then, this tutorial bundle is for you!

This bundle features multiple tutorials, and we have added a few new demonstrators for even more projects! Most tutorials features at least one card and one project, some include multiples. Would you like a copy of the instructions of all the projects you will see in the hop, to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact me, or your participating demonstrator, to find out how to purchase the tutorial bundle or earn it for FREE!

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me,or their participating demonstrator, to obtain their copy. Thanks for your support.

Leave me a comment before you hop on over to the lovely Sandra's blog to see a preview of her fun friendship projects !

Until next time...Happy Craftin'!
