Color Fusers Blog Hop: September 2016 - Part 1 / A "Lollypop Garden" with the Swirly Bird Stamp Set

Welcome to the September Color Fusers Blog Hop! The color scheme this months is: Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, Rich Razzleberry and Sweet Sugarplum. For my project today, I was able to use all the colors and I used first and second ink, giving me even more color variations. I love the result and hope you do too!

I used the Swirly Bird Stamp Set for my project. If you look on Pinterest you will find an amazing array of creative ways to use the images in this stamp set. I definitely recommend purchasing it for it's incredible versatility!

While the images in my card could be seen as flowers, what it makes me think of is a "Lollypop Garden" like in some animated movie or like something from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. What does it make you think of?

The ribbon used is the Mint Macaron 3/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon. It was attached around the backside with glue dots and then Whisper White Bakers twine was tied around the center so it would be gathered in the middle.

The card body is Rich Razzleberry and the focal backing piece is Flirty Flamingo. The Flirty Flamingo cardstock is raised up on Dimensionals.

This was a super fun and simple card to make! A complete supply list, with links to my online store, is included ahead or you can simply click on the Shop Now button below. Thank you so much for stopping by!

I hope you'll continue onto the next site on the Blog Hop. I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing the projects from the rest of the team. Here is a list of the Color Fusers Team:

I really Love this card!! Your stamping design is unique and very well done. It is so whimsical, I'll bet Gene Wilder (Willy Wonka)is looking down and smiling on this card.

This reminds me of some of the glass flowers in the Chihuly exhibit in Seattle near the space needle. Love it!
