Creation Station January Blog Hop--Happy New to You!

Welcome to the Creation Station January Blog Hop--Happy New to You!  We are celebrating new products in the Occasions Catalog and the Sale-a-Bration Catalog this month.   Whether you have arrived from Jennifer's blog or are starting this month's blog hop here, I am happy you stopped by.

There are so many wonderful new things in the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs, it was hard for me to choose!  I finally decided to feature a selection of projects using the Happiness Blooms suite of products.  This suite popped out to me with the bold floral stamp images and the bright colors in the designer series paper, enamel dots and Memories & More card pack.  I used some of my favorite products from the Annual Catalog with  new products in these three projects.

First up is a decorated baker's box. These great treat boxes have been carried over from the Holiday Catalog and are the perfect size for birthday, thank you or "just because" gifts:

The belly band hides the treat window, so there is a nice little surprise when you slide it off!  The greeting and the Lovely Lipstick ribbon are from the new All My Love Suite of products. The Night of Navy medium baker's twine and Whisper White polka dot tulle ribbon are from the Annual Catalog.  I thought they all paired so well with this bold pattern from the Happiness Blooms designer series paper pack.  I used a small bloom image from the Bloom by Bloom stamp set to stamp the background on my tag, then I added the greeting oval and some Pineapple Punch Happiness Blooms enamel dots.  The small bloom on the greeting oval is from a die cut sticker sheet in the Happiness Blooms Memories & More card pack.

Next up is a birthday card using all of the colors in the Happiness Blooms designer series paper:  Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover and Pineapple Punch:

The Happy Birthday greeting is from the new Amazing Life stamp set.  I stamped it in VersaMark and then heat embossed it with Pineapple Punch embossing powder (from the In Color embossing powder pack in the Annual Catalog). The Call Me Clover confetti was stamped with an image from the Birthday Backgrounds stamp set in the Annual Catalog.  The remaining stamped images are from the Bloom By Bloom stamp set in the Happiness Blooms Suite.  The Lovely Lipstick blooms were created with one of the four punches in the Bitty Blooms punch pack in the suite.  (You may purchase the punch pack in a bundle with the Bloom By Bloom stamp set).  I centered each of the punched blooms with a Night of Navy enamel dot and then added a few Pineapple Punch enamel dots to finish the card.

My last project is for a friend who is starting a new chapter in her life. I was flipping through the Happiness Blooms Memories & More card pack and found the perfect sentiment for her!

I layered the 3" x 4" card on a piece of Call Me Clover card stock and then layered it over the coordinating designer series paper pattern.  I added Call Me Clover leaf ribbon, Calypso Coral sheer ribbon and some Call Me Clover enamel dots to complete the card.

Cuuute cards Sara! The first card had me thinking fireworks -- I'll be saving that thought for later. And your second card is just so pretty!

Oh Sara, that first card is adorable. I love the random stamping combined with the white space ... gorgeous xx
