Welcome, Little One--#tgifc198

We are on baby watch here.  My first grandchild and Herb's first grandson is due within the week.   And my vet is expecting his first grandchild within days of ours.  Two big differences:  his expected grandchild is a little girl and she already has a name, Margot Ann.  Our grandson may leave the hospital with "Baby No Name" on his birth certificate.

After having just spent a few weeks with blues and greens for Katharine's baby shower decorations and thank you notes, I decided it would be fun to take out some pretty baby girl colors and make a card for Margot Ann.  I used this week's TGIF Challenge sketch for my inspiration:

The card is mainly Grapefruit Grove with a touch of Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist and, also, Basic Gray and Smoky Slate for the rhino and greeting.  I watercolored the rhino and little birdie on Shimmery White card stock.  The card is pretty straight forward--my supplies are listed below.  One thing to note is the little Flirty Flamingo flower:  I die cut one out of Lemon Lime Twist and one out of Flirty Flamingo, then cut the blossom off the Flirty Flamingo one and adhered it to the Lemon Lime Twist one with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

There are some really stunning cards using this sketch over on the TGIF Challenges blog here.
