Summer Holidays

We are off on our holidays next week – but don’t worry I have a blog post all lined up on Project Life (I have a class planned didn’t you know!).

When we come back I will be holding a class on Masking.  I love masking on cards as it enables you to add depth and interest to your cards – I gave you a sneak peek last week, but remember to email me ASAP to reserve your place!

Last weekend I met up with about 30 other demonstrators and Paula Gorry – Stampin’ Up’s UK Business Development Manager.  It is always inspiring to meet with other demonstrators whether they are hobby or business led – as we always do a card swap.  This is where you make 29 identical cards (the number depends on the number of attendees) and swap them with fellow demonstrators.  Within 10 minutes you have 29 cards of inspiration and thought.

If you want to attend quarterly training, meet like-mind folk and just enjoy a whole day of creativity - then join my team.  Not only can you do whole days,  but I also hold a monthly team meeting - with a little crafting thrown in! Thats without mentioning the £130 starter kit that you get for just £99.  Email me for more information.

But we also discuss invaluable business tools, this time we were challenged to stamp in public!  Paula and several other demonstrators had tried this and were surprised as to how many people were interested in what they were doing.  Therefore this is my challenge – to stamp in public.  So, if you see a strange woman making cards in the park or soft play as three children run madly – it’s me!

Here is a card I made which I will be sharing with my team this evening as we meet at a local bar – we are all busy mums so I thought this would be a lovely way to get out of the house and craft at the same time.  To save on space (you don’t want to drag bags and bags out with you) I have used Project Life cards from a retired kit (Happy Days).  See what you can fit into a small box – you will be surprised.

Post below if you have stepped up to the challenged and crafted in public – where and who with?
