Hostess with the Most-ess

This week I want to show you one of the projects we will be completing at this months workshop – amongst all the homework that my friends will get.  We are concentrating on brayering techniques at this workshop, last week I showed you blending colours from the same colour family to show a graduation (or ombrŅ) of shade.  This week I want to show that you can use the same method to blend two colours from different colour families.

For this project I used

Mint Macaroon and Tip Top Taupe to make the blended background.  Just use the same techniques as before, starting of the project and using long slow strokes to blend the ink on the project.  I found it was best not to go all the way down the project when using different colours at different ends.

I also wanted to discuss the benefits of hosting your own party, as the stamp set I have used - ‘Floral Wings’- is only available to customers who host a party.  If your party generates £150 or more in sales, you earn ‘Stampin’ Rewards’ and get 10% to spend on the catalogue, including some stamp sets only available to hostesses.

So….not only can you learn some fantastic techniques, you can also earn extra goodies to play with if you host your own party!

You can find out more by visiting my website or attending my Open Day on the 5th September.
