Happy Post

Happy Post – have you heard of it?  It’s a concept that brings a smile to people, and allows you to put all your creativity and expression to some use.  Happy post is post that you send to someone that makes them happy, a care package or just a note.  I am sure you remember that feeling when you were a child when the postman brought your birthday cards and presents? Well, this is re-creating that feeling.

There are no rules, as long as it is done for the benefit of the recipient – so it could be just a card ( I bet you have a few of those hanging around) or it could be a care package (wrap all the gifts, cards, items individually to make it more interactive and fun).  It should make you happy and the recipient.

I have started to send some out to random people that I know, and I have to say (being a shy person) it does make me feel that I am stalking them a little.  I have done it based on items I have seen rather than making a list of people and sending to them.  However, all the responses have been positive – I mean who doesn’t like receiving post that means something to them.  You can find web sites that are dedicate to Happy Post (or Happy Mail) that will have a list of pen pals you can join up to.

Stampin' Up have the perfect stamp set for Happy Mail:

Here are a few projects that I will be sending shortly.  The first one is a magic slider card, which I first learnt how to do at training last month.  I also followed instructions from Christina at Card-Making-Magic.

This is a min Match-book Album I made for grandparents. It has a few photos from our recent holiday to Butlins, I thought it was just the right size for them.  The instructions were from Maja Design.

Don’t forget I have a class this Friday using the Masking techniques and a Project Life Class on the 26th August.  Please email me to reserve your place.
