I thought I would take part in the new Global Design Project weekly challenge.  This week the theme was ‘Celebrate’.  I almost made a Christmas card to celebrate the season, however I started thinking of all the other things we can ‘celebrate’.  Sometimes we need a subtle ‘celebrate’ card for those occasions were we celebrate the small victories or events where a careful, thoughtful card is needed.

We rightly celebrate the big things, like birthdays, anniversaries and religious events.  However, there are a whole host of small victories and mile stones that also need to be recognised, such as completing a difficult project or stage, recovering from treatment or injury and other events that could have a mix of emotions attached to them.

My inspiration for this card was that small victory, something that needed a  subtle congratulations.  I hope you like it.  I also made a mini sweet trat bag to go with it.

It also used some of the items from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, launching on the 5th January 2016.  Remember to book your place at my launch night on Friday 8th January, 7pm by 31st December.  £5 will get you a copy of the Spring/Summer and Sale-A-Bration catalogues, a make and take using the new products and a chance to have a look at some of the things you could make with the all the new goodies!

Please also have a look at this week’s Weekly Deals and the .

Fiona, this is such a fun card and treat bag. It is just perfect for our "celebrate" theme at Global Design Project. Thanks for playing long this week!
