Step It Up

A little tip for stalls: Step it up. I found when selling the little shoe and cup gift containers, customers loved it with the chocolate in, but when I told them the chocolate was just a sample and took it out, they didn't want to buy. So now I have some handy to give them with their shoe or gift box. I also display the little shoe with a lipstick in it, which catches potential customers imagination and interest.

Sometimes adding a tiny embellishment can greatly enhance the look of a card. Look at the card I made before and after adding little pearls. What do you think?

wedding cards

I had a few left over 3 x 3 cards I'd handcrafted as a live artist at the Commonwealth Games, "Lift Him up" celebration, and some I'd handcrafted for the Sydney Stampin' Up! Onstage conference. They fitted into a little box I made with Brusho and Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder in the decoration.

The box got a little squashed so, I decided not to use it, but to step the cards up instead. I used the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing folder, and placed the small card on top. Some I steppeed up again.

... and scrapbooking? A few rhinestones can add interest and unify an image.

Stall At Kings Carnival

My husband said, as he was going to bed … "You won't be in bed before midnight." He was wrong!!! I told him so. I was going to bed sometime soooon. I was wrong! I wasn't in bed before 1.30  in the morning, when I forced myself to stop stamping. LOL. I have a stall at Kings Carnival on the 28th. Don't need more cards, just more variety. Here's a sneak preview of the kinds of cards I'll be selling. Keep the date free and come along. I'll have a free stamping activity for the children.

Free entry. Concludes with firework show
