Christmas Gifts & Giving

There are many opportunities to give at Christmas. Make the most of them. There are lots of lovely Christmas stamp sets in the Holiday Catalogue (Found on the SHOP NOW web page) that can help you produce stunning Christmas cards, tags and gift decorations. There are also a number ideas on my IDEAS page to inspire you.

I took the opportunity this week to give everyone who came to the park in Nerang for the free Christmas dinner, a reusable handcrafted Christmas card. Some were made in the St Margaret's Cards & Cuppa workshop and generously donated. They were appreciated, and enabled us to demonstrate the true meaning behind Christmas - "For God so loved that he gave ..." (NIV John 3:16)

I took my guitar as did another girl and we sang Christmas carols.

Our Stampin' Up! team regularly hold card-making challenges and I enter them in order to grow my card-making skills. I entered and won the Paper Angels Original Christmas Card challenge. Here I am holding the original card I made with the amazingly generous prize I received.

What is the colour of your Christmas?

So, Christmas is just around the corner.
I know! Where did the year go?
What colour will you make it? Will you choose tradition?

or ... something new?

What about a summer Christmas?
Here's a stampset you could try.
It's called "
Beachy Little Christmas".
It's one of the retiring stamps sets, which means it won't be around much longer.

I used it to make a card for Onstage 2017 on the Gold Coast.
I added the Christmas sentiment from "Cookie Cutter Christmas" and gave it a curve, which is easy to do with the photopolymer stamps. It would even look great with a more traditional Designer Series Paper in the background. The Designer Series paper shown here is one of the new ones coming out in January.
