Onstage Display Stamper Floating Balloon

I was honoured to be a display stamper for the Gold Coast Onstage event.  This is one of the cards I made using the sponge technique.

I began by tearing a cloud shape edge accross a sheet of paper and used it as a stencil. I dabbed a sponge segment onto the Marina Mist ink pad and smudged along the edge of the stencil to make the cloud shapes. I then used the "Lovely As A tree" stamp set stamping first with Crumb Cake ink , then Basic Black, stamping off and finally Basis black full strength. If you make the objects that are the closest, darker you will create depth in your image.

Recognition and Awards

I go regularly to a team meeting where I meet with a lovely bunch of ladies and learn lots of things to help me in my handcrafting events and cardmaking. Each meeting there is a crafting challenge. Last night I was first equal and won the "All Out Favourite" prize for the team challenge, which involved decorating one of the Stampin' Up! acetate boxes.
I decorated an acetate box using gold foil I'd cut using the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits Dies. I tied the box with ribbon and a gold foil snowflake cut using one of the Seasonal Layers Thilits Dies.

I also received some lovely silver Stampin' Up! product in celebration of achieving silver level. My Upline, Rani,  made a beautiful card, and her upline, Anna had a lovely silver charm for me.

Onstage 2017 Gold Coast

I had a wonderful time at Onstage 2017 on Saturday. There were sneek peaks of some amazing new products that will be available soon. There was business training, demonstrator acknowledgements, make and takes, lots of free products, technique and card making demonstrations, sharing with a very friendly group of people, lunch and more.

There are two conferences next year. If you would like to attend one, contact me. ‚Äč

I was one of four  display stampers, which was a great honour. Here I am standing beside the cards I created with some of the soon to be available products.

Stampin' Blends

If you missed out on winning the Stampin Blends and haven't already bought them, they'd make a great Christmas present. I had a little play with them and they flow onto the card beautifly and blend without ruining the card. Here's my first quick attempt at a gradient using the light and dark colour.

They are artist-quality alcohol markers in 12 exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours, each with a light and dark shade marker.     View  details here
