Charity Afternoon Tea

I suggested a charity event to a Coffee and Chat group I go to and everyone came on board and helped raise funds to contribute to an educational program and equipment for some disabled children in Bali. We had two miracles of provision as well as many very generous people with donations of food, time and money, including Bliss Cafe and Stampin' up! Those who wanted to, made 3D shoes or shirt gift boxes using Stampin' Up! products, in which they put a chocolate bar. We had 10 door prizes, and sold scones and jam as well as a scratchy. Our guest musician Zac, played wonderfully for us, and many said what a lovley time they had. We raised $950 (plus some Bali money), which exceeded my expectations by about $700.

A Make and Take

At most Stampin' Up! Events there are Make and Take's. This means participants get to make something and take it away. At a demonstrator event on Saturday, there were six tables set up with everything we needed to make a gift box, tags and cards. It was great fun. If you would like to be a demonstrator and join us in events like this, click the link on the menu above to find out more, or contact me.

Demonstrators Sharing

When Stampin' Up! demonstrators get together they have a lot of fun, but they also share what they love. This is part of the display some of the ladies made to inspire us at the Paper Angels Team Day.

Paper Angels Team Day

One of the great things about joining Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator, is meeting new people and being inspired at events they organise. On Saturday we had a fabulous time, received a lovely bag full of goodies, made some stunning cards, tags and boxes, received some very useful door prizes (we all won one), listened to inspiring talks ... and of course got to know some of the people we see on our Facebook groups.

This is one of the Make and Take cards I made on the day.
