Baby, Ready to Pop!

Ready to Pop!

I recently planned a baby sprinkle for a dear friend. It was a small gathering so it was perfect to sit, chat and sip tea with some fabulous ladies. Of course, my first choice was to make a baby card using the 'Baby Bear' stamp set, so adorable and so life-like with the three-step stamping. I have also used the new Powder Pink cardstock and designer series paper (because it's a girl!). We can't wait to meet the new addition to our extended family. xx

Memory Keeping

Memory Keeping

Do you scrap book your photo's? Maybe you prefer 'project life' type products? For me my passion for paper craft was rekindled when scrapbooking became a thing (again). I remember many years ago painstakingly making my parents a wedding album for their anniversary. It was hard to find products that kept my inspiration so I quickly moved on to cards and other paper craft. Sure, I made an album when my daughter was little, but not much since. In fact I'm still making my friend's wedding album and it's been over two years!

This year I'm bringing albums back. I like books. I want memories I can hold and show off to everyone - not just my Facebook friends. I figured I'd create 'a year in the life' album for 2017 (yes, I'm a Gilmore Girls fan) and do you know what? It's only May and I learned we live a pretty awesome life! Of course we have the same challenges most working families do, but we have had some fabulous adventures and for that I am extremely grateful. It's memories & more. xx

Mothers Day of Crafting

Happy Mothers Day!

And what a day it was! I had pancakes for breakfast (not made by me!) and the whole day to paper craft. Have a look at some of my creations here

Of course, I took some time out to visit my Mum who thoroughly enjoyed receiving a new Stampin' Up! Catalogue (Yes, I know it's early but Mum is my best customer, plus it's Mothers Day!). My Mummy also received the beautiful card pictured above, made especially as she loves butterflies. In fact I borrowed her stamps and thinlets to make this card! Xx
