Creative Inkers Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop!

Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creative Inkers Occasions Catalogue Blog Hop!
I have fallen in love with the beautiful Butterfly Basics stamp set and thinlit dies that are available in the Occasions Catalogue! I love a stamp set with both useful words and images, and this set ticks those boxes perfectly!

Butterfly Basics

I saw a beautiful card made by one of the Stampin' Up! staff members, and thought it would be perfect on a page, and this is the finished result:

Here is a close up of the butterfly embellishment - I love layering and texture so this was perfect!

I also tried a different technique - putting die-cut letters on top of my photos (photo overlays are very much on-trend at the moment!). I used the Little Letters framelits to cut my letters out of Whisper White card.

I hope you enjoyed loking at my page! I taught this page to  a group of 14 lovely ladies today at my regular monthly scrapbooking class - and only managed to get one photo! They all did so well and their pages looked amazing! Here is Karen working on her lovely page:

Thanks for stopping by! Your next stop is the lovely Sharon de Vos (or if you are hopping backwards you will be visiting the awesome Heather Stewart!).

What a pretty layout Ria. I love the colours you've used. I particularly like your embellishment in the bottom left corner how you've put the flowers underneath the butterfly.

Stunning layout. I don't have that set or framelits yet - it is on my wishlist and after seeing how you've layered the butterfly and used the stamps it will definitely be the first thing on my next order. Thanks for sharing
