Punched Posies Challenge Card

Hi all,
I've just popped in quickly to upload my card for this week's
Just Add Ink Challenge # 50 . This time it's a colour challenge.  I looked at the colours and said to myself -  nope, not doing this one - went and put on a load of washing and my mind wandered back to the challenge (my mind does this often when I'm doing something boring).  So I had an idea, quickly sketched it before I forgot (another thing my mind does often) and then got to work.  Approximately 20 minutes later, this was the result.  I am very happy now that I decided to do the challenge because I love how this card turned out and I got to use my brand spanking new Pinking Hearts Border Punch  from the Summer Mini - which is gorgeous.  Here are the colours, (it was the Elegant Eggplant that threw me),  I've mentioned before that I'm not a big fan but hey, that's what challenges are all about.

And here is my card...

Stamps:  Punched Posies, Tiny Tags
Paper:  Elegant Eggplant, So Saffron, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz
Ink:  Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz,
Accessories:  Fancy Flower Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Pinking Hearts Border Punch,  Jewellery Tag Punch, Regals Brad

Thanks for dropping by and taking look,

Aren't you glad for those boring jobs, its amazing how our minds are always looking/thinking about designs for cards. Your card is amazing thank goodness for

Hi Sue, Couldn't believe when I saw you on the colour challenge, I have just started doing challenges and love it. I have only had a blog for the last month so it is nice to finally find you on the net. Love your card

Love this card has the wow factor. I was unsure on the colours at first as well, but I'm loving what everyone has come up with!
