New Rubber!!

I stamped - yay!!  I couldn't resist the sketch challenge at Just Add Ink this week and plus I was dying to ink up my brand spanking new set from the Summer Mini - Aviary.  I am rapt with how this card turned out, this was one of those times when it came out looking exactly the same as it it did in my head, if you know what I mean :)  I also LOVE this colour combo: Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and wait for it ...... Elegant Eggplant.  Now here's an interesting fact:  I have never used Elegant Eggplant before - TRUE!   I don't own the ink pad so I had to use a marker to ink up the little bird.  I was determined to use it and I am so happy that I did, I don't know why I waited so long.  If you're wondering how I made the scallop edge, I punched out 4 circles of Tempting Turquoise cardstock and mounted them under the  Whisper White and trimmed the overhanging cardstock.  You can use whatever size circle punch you like, I went with the 1 3/4".

Stamps:  Aviary, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Paper:  Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Ink:  Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant
Accessories:  1 3/4" Circle Punch, Regals Button, Old Olive 5/8" Satin, Paper Piercer, Mat Pack
Non SU:  White Crochet Cotton

Thanks for taking a look and I hope you like it as much as I do!

Fabulous! I love your colour combo! And the piercing down the side is really effective.
