Patio Party Birthday Card

Here's a card I made a while ago when I first got my hands on the Patio Party DSP.  It's really quick and simple and by keeping the layout the same and just changing the paper and sentiment, it could be for any occasion. An excellent way to make use of scraps also.

Stamps:  Bring on the Cake

Paper:  Primrose Petals, Whisper White, Summer Starfruit, Patio Party DSP

Ink:  Jet Black Stazon, Baja Breeze, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit

Accessories:  Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, Scallop Border Ribbon Punch, Blender Pen, 1 3/8" Square Punch

Thanks for dropping by, have a great day,

December Class - Tags and Bags

Next month's class is all about the packaging.  I've fashioned a class around the gift bag I showed yesterday. This bag is quite a decent size and you could fit cookies, chocolates or mini cards in there. There is also a matching gift card holder and 4 gift tags. They would make a perfect gift on their own.

For all the details about the class, click on the events tab at the top of this page.

Champagne Glimmer Christmas Tree

I CASEd this card from a fellow demonstrator, Judy May.  I can't remember how I came across it but I do remember my jaw dropped.  Judy's card was very similar, however she used Baja Breeze, Real Red and Silver Glimmer Paper and I went for the neutrals with a splash of Cherry Cobbler.  I totally love how it turned out but could have spent all day just adjusting those circles a fraction of a millimetre.  Hence why I did not include this as one of my stamp a stack cards last month as I know some of my customers would have been the same and we might never have gotten through the stack :)

Stamps:  Curly Cute

Paper:  Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, Champagne Glimmer

Ink:  Early Espresso

Punches: Merry Minis Punch Pack, 1 1/4" Circle, 1" Circle, 3/4" Circle, 1/2" Circle

Thanks for checking in today, have a good one,

Winter Theme...

Ok, definately not Winter here, but it is over at 4 Crafty Chicks! I wish it would snow here at Christmas or at least be cool. Onto the project... I've made a gift bag using lots of my favourite Holiday Catalogue products.  The outside is the Early Espresso Core'dinations Cardstock which I have sanded to reveal the core and give it a vintage look. Continuing on in that theme, I've used the Lacy Brocade embossing folder and sponged around the edges, followed by Candlight DSP, Snow Flurry Die, Champagne Glimmer Paper and a gorgeous Vintage Faceted Button as the centrepiece. I love how it turned out and I've made several more using the Snow Festival Paper.  I'll show you those another day.

Stamps:  Greetings of the Season

Paper:  Early Espresso Core'dinations, Champagne Glimmer, Candlelight Specialty DSP, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Real Red

Ink:  Early Espresso, Crumb Cake

Accessories:  Big Shot, Snow Flurry Die, Large Oval Punch, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Vintage Faceted Button, Sanding Block, Sponge, Simply Scored

Thanks so much for taking a look, have a great day,
