Sisters 12 x 12

This is a 12 x 12 scrapbook page of my girls.  What I love most about it is that they actually look like they like each other! That's what scrapbooking is all about to me, capturing those special and RARE moments on film and paying tribute to them by giving them their own page.  I've used the Twitterpated DSP and the brand new alphabet dies for the title. The flowers are a combination of die cuts and punches.

Stamps:  Mixed Bunch

Paper:  Cetainly Celery, Island Indigo, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Twitterpated DSP

Ink:  Pink Pirouette

Accessories:  Big Shot, Fast Flowers Die, Blossom Party Originals Die, Typeset Alphabet Dies, Lattice Embossing Folder, Adorning Accents Edgelits, Bitty Buttons, White Bakers Twine

Punches:  Blossom, Itty Bitty Pack, Boho Blossoms

Core'dinations Cardstock Flower

You may have heard of Core'dinations cardstock before, it's not exclusive to Stampin' Up! but now we are stocking it in our exclusive colours.  At the moment it's only available in Early Espresso, Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler - the perfect Christmas colours.  It's really economical as well working out at $1 per 12 x 12" sheet.  What makes it so special?  It has a coordinating core which is revealed when you tear or sand off the surface.  You can see this below in the flower where I have used the Cherry Cobbler.  I cut the flowers first, then embossed them with the new Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.  Next I used the new Sanding Blocks to llightly sand the surface and reveal the "core" of the cardstock.  You can find all these products on page 6 of the Holiday Mini.  This card is based on the sketch below from Cardabilities which I have flipped.

Stamps:  Bring on the Cake, Parlor Prints

Paper:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations

Ink:  Early Espresso, Crumb Cake

Accessories:  Big Shot, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Fun Flowers Die, Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Naturals Designer Button, Sponge, Blossom Petals Punch

Thanks for calling in,

Sue

Comfort Cafe Card

I made this card to showcase another of the gorgeous new papers from the catalogue - it's called Comfort Cafe.  I love the warm Autumn colours even though we are in Spring! There are 2 new in colours in there, Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit. I'm so happy to have some new colours to play with! I love this card, my favourite part is another newbie - Designer Naturals Buttons, looks perfect with Linen Thread.

I'm submitting this card to Casual Fridays who are running a Fall inspired theme this week.  There are some really beautiful cards on their blog.

Stamps:  Creative Elements, Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Paper:  Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Comfort Cafe DSP

Ink:  Crumb Cake, Soft Suede

Accessories:  Big Shot, Fun Flowers Die, Designer Naturals Button, Linen Thread

Punches:  1 3/8" Square, Blossom, 1" Square

More Betsy's Blossoms

The inspiration for this card came from Retro Sketches, I took the sketch and turned it sideways and of course the banner would look weird going up from the bottom so I adjusted that as well.  I have shown you this set before, it's called Betsy's Blossoms and it coordinates with the Floral District DSP from which I have chosen my colours.  I also used the Bitty Banner Framelits to cut out the sentiment.  Although it coordinates with the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set, it works really well with Teeny Tiny Sentiments as well.

Stamps:  Betsy's Blossoms, Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry, Floral District DSP

Ink:  Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango

Accessories:  Boho Blossoms Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch, 1" Square Punch, Big Shot, Itty Bitty Framelits, Basic Jewels Rhinestones

Thanks so much for dropping by, have a great day,

Sue

Kids Class - Cool Treats

The school holidays are here! That means another kid's class. This one I have named "Cool Treats" because it's all about ice cream.  I thought it quite fitting since the weather is warming up...

The class consists of 4 projects, all pictured individually below: they are 3 cards and an ice cream gift box.  All the details for the classes can be found on my homepage, just click on the "Events" tab at the top.
