Missing Spice Cake DSP...

At SUO Challenges this week, they are saying goodbye to their Occasions Mini Catalogue products.  We don't have this catalogue in Oz, so I'm posting a project I made with the Spice Cake DSP and Spiced Paisley stamp set which retired last month from our Summer Mini because they were my favourite items.  I have my fingers crossed that Spiced Paisley will make a retun in the Ideas Book and Catalogue in September.
This is a gift voucher, voucher wallet and matching card that I made recently.

Stamps:  Spiced Paisley, Triple Treat Flower, Tiny Tags
Paper:  More Mustard, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, River Rock, Pear Pizzazz, Spice Cake DSP
Ink:  Pool Party, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, River Rock
Accessories: Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding Ribbon, Basic Jewels Pearls, Big Shot, Perfect Pennants Die, Sponge, Spritzer
Punches:  Fancy Flower, 5 Petal Flower, 1/2" Circle, Scallop Trim Border, Jewellery Tag, Corner Rounder

Thanks for dropping by, have a great day,
Sue

Butterflies....

Why do I love butterflies?  I'm not sure, maybe it's because they're so delicate and gentle - never heard of anyone being bitten by a butterfly :)   Or maybe because they are just the prettiest creature around, I don't know why, but I do love them.  My card today is inspired by the Our Creative Corner website which has an inspiration photo of butterflies.  The stamp set I have used is from the Autumn Winter Mini and is called Mixed Bunch.  It has a selection of 3 large flowers and 3 small ones.  The large ones match the Blossom Punch, also in the mini.  To turn the flower into a butterfly by removing 2 petals is not my idea, not sure who thought of it first as I've seen many, but isn't it great?  I've stamped my flower onto Whisper White cardstock in Versamark and then embossed with White Embossing Powder.  This created an almost invisible pattern that sprung to life when I sponged it with my inks, it's called the "emboss resist" technique.

Stamps:  Mixed Bunch, Curly Cute
Paper:  Confetti White, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Attic Boutique DSP
Ink:  Versamark, Soft Suede, Pool Party
Accessories:  Big Shot, Adorning Edgelits Die, Blossom Punch, White Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Linen Thread, Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon, Sponge Daubers

Thanks so much for looking, have a great day,
Sue
