Always 12 x 12

I finally got around to using the Presto Patterns Specialty DSP, it's been sitting on my desk for almost 2 months!  Truth be told, I was a little scared of it, I didn't want to ruin it.  So, I mustered up the courage, and bit the bullet and all those cliches and just did it.  Now I don't know what I was scared of, because it was really easy and I love how it turned out.  For those who don't know what the Presto Patterns is and what makes it a Specialty DSP, I'll try to explain.  It's a new product from the Summer Mini (page  10), it's white in colour and thick like cardstock.  It has a glossy, raised pattern on it like as if it has been heat embossed.  When you brayer, ink, sponge, smooch etc, the pattern is revealed.  This is what you can see on the right side of the page towards the bottom. I inked mine with Old Olive and a sponge, I concentrated the the sponging a little more down the bottom to provide some contrast.  I have also use some gorgeous Vintage Trinkets and a tag ( page 8), I would have used my Smooch Spritz as well if I could find it!  So I settled for using the Spritzer and a Chocolate Chip Marker instead.  I've taken some close up so you can see the details a little clearer.

These are the Vintage Trinkets.  I secured a piece of Twill Ribbon across the page with these cute little brads that look like tiny buttons.  I stamped a C (for Charlie) onto a Vintage Tag and attached it to the Twill with a matching little safety pin.

The sentiment comes from the stamp set Always which  I stamped onto Very Vanilla, and mounted onto an Old Olive tag.  I thought it needed a little something else so I spritzed it and attached a Mini Library Clip then finished it off with some  Linen Thread wrapped around.  I thought ALWAYS would make a good title so I stamped the letters onto Old Olive cardstock with Chocolate Chip ink, cut them out, spritzed them, roughed them up and stuck them on.
